Bard Unbound works in a non-traditional manner, with an abbreviated rehearsal schedule that relies heavily on the individual work of each actor. Based on the "understudy method", new actors will work individually and with the director and finally worked into the cast with 2-3 rehearsals.
As, blocking changes with each new venue, actors learn a skeletal blocking and must be able to quickly adjust for each performance.

ENSEMBLE
Bard Unbound aims to employ a "loose" ensemble of actors for its year round performances. We look for actors to learn "tracks" of characters in our library of performance pieces - Shakespeare's Drinking Scenes, Love Scenes and Clown Scenes and are available throughout the year.
We also tour a full play during the summer.
PLEASE NOTE: BEING A PART OF THIS ENSEMBLE DOES NOT PREVENT YOU FROM WORKING WITH OTHER ENTITIES.
